US HealthConnect Inc. (USH) Acquires EU-based Medcon International, the Leading Provider of Cardiovascular Clinical Education in Europe

Acquisition expands USH’s global operations, cardiology expertise, digital education platforms, and data measures

Fort Washington, PA | May 21, 2021

US HealthConnect Inc. (USH) announced today the acquisition of Medcon International, the leading provider of cardiovascular disease (CVD) education in Europe. Medcon will become the fifth subsidiary of USH’s CME enterprise, joining Prova Education (specialty education), Omnia Education (women’s health education), Medtelligence (cardiovascular education), and AGILE (global/multi-lingual education).

Since its founding in 2000, Medcon International has been recognized for its scientific acumen and in-depth reach into CVD healthcare professionals (HCPs). It is the first organization to receive accreditation from the European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (EBAC) and serves its users through four well-established brands:

• Physicians’ Academy for Cardiovascular Education (PACE-CME)
• European Primary Care Cardiovascular Society (EPCCS)
• International Primary Care Cardiovascular Societies (IPCCS)
• Cardiovasculaire Geneeskunde (CVGK)
