Look no further than Global Learning Collaborative! Global Learning Collaborative is a medical education company seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Manager, Supporter Services. Candidates will be responsible for providing the highest level of service to assigned supporters. Supporters are defined as pharmaceutical, device, diagnostic companies, etc., i.e., grantors, who provide educational grants to design, develop, and execute medical education activities.
This role encompasses both internal and externally facing services and responsibilities to include: accountability for the success of educational initiative development and implementation through understanding educational needs, proactively identifying potential development/delivery issues and ensuring that the appropriate internal resources are working to resolve any issues; to consistent, proactive communications with assigned grantors regarding status of the grant funding, educational plan implementation, activity metrics and outcomes, etc.
What a day in the life of a Manager, Grantor Services looks like:
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Becoming versed in assigned therapeutic areas, understanding educational gaps and strategy, and contributing to development and implementation of education plans
- Understanding the scope of educational initiatives and their success criteria, and providing oversight to implementation process to ensure timelines are met, fiscal health is maintained, and success is achieved
- Participating in the review process of various elements of activity development
- Maintaining consistent communications with grantors regarding activity status, milestones, and grant execution
- Delivering activity reports to grantors to include status reports, metrics, outcomes, educational effectiveness, etc.
- Collaborating with educational strategists and scientific affairs on education strategy and grant execution
- Overseeing multiple priorities at once
- Leading or participating in live meetings with grantors
What we expect from qualified candidates:
- We are a hybrid work environment, and expect our employees to occasionally work on-location at our Fort Washington, PA office
- Project management experience a definite plus
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a client services role, preferably in medical education or pharmaceutical (or related) company
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have the ability to handle conflict and problem-solve
- Have aptitude for strategic thinking
- Maintain excellent attention to detail and have the ability to prioritize
- Understand key principles of project management
- Exhibit leadership qualities, and comfortably work in a team-environment
- Be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Be flexible and independent while working in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to travel and work extended hours, as needed
- Have an understanding of healthcare environment, continuing medical education, medical communications
